Harry Braswell, LEED AP
Harry founded Harry Braswell, Inc. in 1982. He oversees all operations and is heavily involved in the company's day-to-day activities. His expert knowledge of construction coupled with his integrity and diligent work ethic have given his company its outstanding reputation for exceptional service. Harry grew up in Old Town Alexandria and began doing independent restoration work in the area after earning a degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia in 1978. An advocate for historic preservation and land conservation, Harry is a member of the Virginia Outdoors Foundation.
Project Manager
Gretchen has 20 years of experience with residential design and remodeling. She guides clients through the renovation process with an expert knowledge of finishes and selections and residential construction. Prior to joining Harry Braswell in 2001, she worked as an interior designer. She is a graduate of The Art Institute of Houston. Outside of work, Gretchen enjoys spending time with her family and scrapbooking.
Robert has more than 20 years of experience in residential design and construction management in the Washington metropolitan area. A licensed architect in Virginia, his expertise includes renovating historically sensitive homes and helping clients achieve successful projects. In his spare time, Robert enjoys being an active member of Alexandria Crew Boosters and the Virginia Scholastic Rowing Association. He also serves as executive officer for local Boy Scout Troop 131. Robert earned a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Design from University of Florida.
Architectural Designer
Georgette has more than 10 years of experience working on residential design and project architecture in Georgia, New York, southern California, and Mexico. Her expertise includes kitchen and bath design, millwork design, restoration, and space planning. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and creating floral arrangements. Georgette earned a Bachelors of Science in Architecture in Mexico where she graduated first in her class. She holds a certificate in Interior Design from the Newport Beach Interior Designer’s Institute. Georgette is fluent in Spanish.
Lead Carpenter
Dave has been a carpenter for 38 years. He started working with Harry Braswell in 2004. A native of Fairfax, Va., Dave developed his love for carpentry while a teenager, and over the course of four decades, has truly developed his craft into high art. An avid fisherman in his spare time, he participates in Potomac River bass tournaments.
Lead Carpenter
Freddy has been working for Harry Braswell since 2008. His mastery of constructing today's fine kitchens makes him a highly valued team member. Freddy's meticulous craftsmanship has helped earn Braswell Design+Build numerous awards. He's a dedicated family man.
Lead Carpenter
Bill has worked with Harry Braswell for more than half of his 30+ years as a carpenter. He studied Architecture at Virginia Tech, but he always enjoyed building houses more than designing them. He left his apprenticeship at an architecture firm to work as a carpenter for Braswell. In his spare time, he enjoys the arts, music, and D.C. sports as well as vacationing in Myrtle Beach with his wife and sons.

Jamie joined Harry Braswell in 2012. Always ready to conquer new challenges, Jamie has worked on award-winning interiors and supervised commercial projects. He is an avid bass fisherman. He and his wife enjoy cooking and baseball and hikes with their dog.

Jarrett joined Harry Braswell in 2010. He has more than 21 years of experience as a carpenter. He spent a large part of his childhood in Carver, Massachusetts where he helped his stepfather farm cranberries. He first started working as a builder at age 18.
